Summary

The night sky in Bei Du City was clear as Xu Liao, after sending Qu Lei and Zhao Yan Qin back, felt relieved about not being able to tell Qu Lei he couldn't be her boyfriend. He wandered into the university area, where he noticed a girl being pursued by stone gargoyles, controlled by dark magicians from the Dark Court. Despite sensing danger, Xu Liao chose not to intervene initially. However, when dark energy targeted him, he countered it with the Ding Xuan Mirror, injuring the magicians and disabling the gargoyles. The girl seized the opportunity, defeating the stone gargoyles with her steel sticks. Afterward, she thanked Xu Liao for his unseen assistance.
