Summary

Xu Liao, a level 1 newbie, seeks votes to compete against higher-level authors. He and Bai Qiu Lian reach a mountain peak with a chilling deep pool. While others set up Flying Cloud Pavilions, Xu Liao and Bai Qiu Lian use the Moonlight Technique for comfort. Bai Qiu Lian has a pavilion but prefers Xu Liao's company. Tension arises as Bai Xuan Zai, a talented cousin, arrives, demanding the top-grade spirit weapons. He easily defeats eight Bai family members who challenge him. Xu Liao offers to fight Bai Xuan Zai, hoping to prove himself. Bai Xuan Zai acknowledges Xu Liao's strength and allows him to attack, but when Xu Liao unleashes his sword qi, Bai Xuan Zai flees in shock.
