Summary

Xu Liao, a Level 1 author, pleads for votes against higher-level authors. He attempts to communicate with three demon beasts, the San Tou Yun Xi Shou, but they struggle to understand his commands. After many failures, they surprisingly grasp the Nine Yuan Calculation Sutra, leading Xu Liao to teach it to them. As they begin to learn, Xu Liao loses track of time and feels exhausted. The beasts become attached to him, with one transforming into a comforting layer of mist. Xu Liao reflects on his feelings for Bai Qiu Lian and Qu Lei, rejecting a pillow with Bai's photo and opting for a plain one instead. The story concludes with the beasts still trying to please him.
