Summary

Xu Liao is introduced to a job involving a residence on Yao Huai Street, where monsters live. Xu Fu Yuan, the estate lord, hints at the growing monster population and the need for housing. Zhao Yan Qin, a monster, expresses concern for Xu Liao's safety after he jokes about Xu Fu Yuan, revealing Xu Fu's terrifying past. They visit Zhao Yan Qin's home, where she shares delicious buns and they explore an abandoned virtual realm's entrance. Inside, they discover a beautiful, secluded courtyard, and Zhao Yan Qin shares her childhood wish to enter. Xu Liao contemplates the luxury of the courtyard and learns about the housing system for monsters, feeling disappointed about the limitations.
