Summary

The story revolves around a group of Persian merchants who encounter a mysterious island inhabited by powerful Han people. After a Han man demonstrates supernatural abilities by walking on water and dragging their ship ashore, the Persians are led into a cave where they discover the decapitated heads of previous visitors. The inhabitants force stone balls into their throats, causing them to repeatedly say, "This place is the dwelling of Immortals; mortals must not intrude." The Persians are warned never to return to the island, and are subsequently sent away.
