Summary

In Luoyang, as autumn deepens, Ye Bianzhou, a pre-natal realm warrior, arrives seeking Su Bai. The Grand Scholar confronts him, but Ye insists on delivering a message without disclosing details. At Su Mansion, Ye reveals the Junzi Sword and informs Su Bai of Old Xu's death and the capture of a little carp by Qing Deng Temple. Su Bai, saddened, contemplates revenge but is cautioned by Ye. After a brief visit, Ye departs, leaving Su Bai to strategize. The next day, Su Bai visits the academy and then the palace, where he informs Chen Di about the little carp's capture, prompting a change in Chen Di's demeanor.
