Summary

In a dark forest, Jin Jianglang struggles to find his way after losing a blind woman’s voice. He encounters a flickering flame and hides as he overhears two monsters, Ibaraki and You Gu Xiang, threatening the blind woman, who identifies herself as the Blind Princess and an Onmyoji. Tension rises as Ibaraki seeks to kill her for a token of allegiance to the demon king Shōtō. Jin Jianglang intervenes, asserting that killing her would prevent them from meeting Shōtō. He reveals that Shōtō is a shikigami of the Bu Zhi Huo family and suggests that bringing certain sake brands would secure their friendship, defusing the situation.
