Summary

After a brief exchange, Feng Bu Jiao uses a gun to intimidate the creature into revealing information about the cursed "Forest of No Return." The creature explains its transformation was due to the resentment of a child, leading to the discovery of corpses within its trunk. It mentions a vengeful spirit linked to the villagers of Cang Ling Zhen. Feng Bu Jiao cleverly retrieves a bell from the creature, which will guide them to Cang Ling Temple, before deciding to leave the creature alive despite Si Yu's concerns.
